Whilst we are a members' club, we offer a warm welcome to visitors all year round and we respectfully ask that all visitors adhere to our requests below:
All visitors are to play from the tee of the day, either the yellow course or the red course.
Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course and between April and September plastic cleats are preferred.
Mobile phones must be on silent in the clubhouse and on the course.
Blue jeans, shell suits, tracksuits, leggings, football/rugby type shirts, gents collarless or sleeveless shirts and training shoes are all unsuitable attire and are not to be worn on the course. Tailored shorts are allowed. Smart jeans are acceptable in the clubhouse.
Golf shoes are not allowed in the clubhouse and shoes should be worn at all times
Start times must be adhered to, any alterations can only be authorised through the Club Shop or the club office.
The Club reserves the right to ask any visitor to leave the course or clubhouse should they be deemed to be unsuitably dressed or unable to hold their place on the course.

Adverse Conditions Policy
Carlisle Golf Club considers the health and safety of its Members, Guests and Staff the top priority during adverse weather / course conditions.
In the event of either, the Course Manager, Duty Manager(s), Club Shop Staff, Professional or Committee member(s) may at their discretion close the course or suspend play.
Carlisle Golf Club also encourage any member or player out on the course to request a closure or suspension of play if circumstances warrant it, by telephoning 01228 513241 / 513029 and giving full details for the request.
