Visitors are very welcome at Carlisle Golf Club throughout the year. Set on the outskirts of Carlisle, our championship parkland course offers an enjoyable yet challenging test of golf, combining high-quality playing conditions with a warm Cumbrian welcome both on and off the course.
Whether you are visiting as part of a golfing break, playing with members, or discovering the club for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you and hope you enjoy everything the club has to offer.
To help you make the most of your round, we’ve outlined a few helpful notes below:
Tee of the day
Visitors play from the designated tee of the day, typically the Yellow or Red tees.
Dress code
We ask all visitors to wear appropriate golf attire on the course. Traditional golf clothing is encouraged to help maintain the standards and atmosphere of the club.
Golf shoes must be worn on the course (plastic cleats preferred between April and September). Golf shoes are not permitted in the clubhouse — smart footwear should be worn indoors.

Please arrive in good time for your booked tee time. If you need to make any adjustments, our Club Shop team will be happy to assist.
